RetailMeNot: BugMeNot for coupon codes
I went to BugMeNot recently and noticed this. Could be handy, especially with its bookmarklet that works the same way as BugMeNot’s (e.g., drag to your bookmarks toolbar, browse to somestore.com, click it, and it brings up any codes for somestore.com).
Fair amount of noise, though, just like BugMeNot.
Nintendo acquires Monolith Soft
Whoah. Monolith is made up of ex-Square employees. (There seem to be very few Square employees from the good old days still left at Square.)
Yeah, so I didn’t really love Xenosaga, but I still think they Monolith has potential. Or maybe I just want to believe.
I was hoping for ‘Piano Protagonist’. Oh well.

Why Are T1 Lines Still Expensive?
My freshman year roommate told me he had a T1 line going into his home. I asked why he would want that if he could have faster and cheaper cable modem. He insisted that T1 was much faster, despite my attempts to explain things like Mbps to him. (I realise there’s an argument to be made for guaranteed reliability vs. best-effort. It doesn’t apply to someone like him.)
I later found out he just made up the whole thing, like he made up a lot of the things he said. I still don’t understand why.
Exciting, even for a casual player such as myself.
Probably won’t run well on my computer, though. :( That’s why I prefer the idea of console gaming.
Update : I guess this was a bit premature. Oh well, someday.

The screenshots look pretty darn slick. I’ll have to try it to see, but Panic’s usually top-notch.
